Former CRIMSON GLORY/LEATHERWOLF Singer Working On BLACK REIGN Debut
November 15, 2010Vocalist Wade Black (LEATHERWOLF, CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES) is working on the debut album from his BLACK REIGN project, which also features Rick Renstrom (ROB ROCK, LEASH LAW, TIWANAKU) on guitar and Rich Marks on bass. A drummer for the group has not yet been announced. Entitled "Conflict In Creation", the CD will feature "12 brand new tracks that tie into an exciting story using historic and fictional themes," according to a press release. Two of the songs — "Saviour" and "Reaction" — are now available for streaming on the BLACK REIGNMySpace page.
Previous incarnations of BLACK REIGN have included such musicians as Pete Blakk, guitarist for the classic KING DIAMOND lineup that recorded the legendary albums "Them", "Conspiracy" and "The Eye"; and Jesse Martillo (CRIMSON GLORY) on drums. The band's setlists included songs from CRIMSON GLORY, LEATHERWOLF and several KING DIAMOND classics.
